Partnering and participating with EIT Health

EIT Health is a network of about 150 Partners. There are different partner types and clear rules on how to become a partner.

The activities carried out by EIT Health and its Partners are defined in an annual Business Plan, which is approved at a yearly Partners Assembly and submitted to the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Following the Partners Assembly, the EIT decides the annual EU funding that EIT Health receives. EIT Health holds an annual call for proposals for its Partners to submit project proposals for the Business Plan, in the fields of innovation projects, education and business creation.

The projects that EIT Health's Partners undertake usually involve participation of entrepreneurs, students, professionals and citizens.

Joining calls for proposals

Only members of the EIT Health Association can submit applications for our calls for proposals. Organisations that are not members can participate by collaborating with members. Entities in EIT Health's Regional Innovation Scheme receive assistance in participation through the InnoStars office.

Becoming a Partner

To join the EIT Health Association, organisations must become Partners. Find out more:

Participating as a Learner or Entrepreneur

In addition to providing funding to selected Innovation Project proposals arising from within the membership, EIT Health supports Campus and Accelerator programmes. These are open to all learners, professionals, start-ups and entrepreneurs who meet the specific qualifications set by each programme. Find out about these programme offerings in our Opportunities section.
